Planning to exit your business can seem daunting. It’s hard to know where to begin. The webinar “Navigating Business Transition Planning with Confidence” was designed to get you started. Five one-hour sessions will cover the main aspects of business exit planning, including: 

  • How to sell a business while avoiding common mistakes 

  • The importance of a professional business valuation 

  • Legal considerations when selling 

  • Planning your best life after the sale 

  • Financial planning to ensure that you can afford the retirement you want

Selling A Business 

Day 3 of the workshop will cover the business sale process with speakers Bryan Ducharme, Managing Partner of Venture 7 Advisors, and Chris Nesbit, a partner in Focus Acquisition Partners. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the business sale process from the perspectives of a sell-side advisor, Bryan Ducharme, and a buy-side advisor, Chris Nesbitt. We’ll be discussing the sale preparation process, how to make buyers compete for your business, negotiating and structuring a deal, the due diligence process and more.  


There will be a one-hour workshop each day (from noon to 1:00 pm), from Monday, September 30th through Friday, October 4th, with a bonus day for free-form questions and answers with the expert panel on Monday, October 7th. There will also be time for questions after each day’s presentation.
