Venture 7 Advisors was created to offer sophisticated merger and acquisition services to mid-sized companies. Businesses with less than $5 million in revenue are largely served by business brokers and businesses with more than $50 million in revenue are served by investment banks.

 

But companies with $5 to $50 million in revenue haven’t had a lot of options. They’re larger and more sophisticated than most business brokers can represent, and they’re generally too small to warrant the attention of investment banks. Venture 7 Advisors was created to help bridge that gap between business broker and investment banks. 

 

We provide the kind of guidance and expertise that we wish we had when we were selling our own companies in the past. We’re hands-on entrepreneurs who understand the business issues and emotional complexity of selling a business that you’ve built for years - because we’ve done it ourselves, several times.

Bryan is a management consultant, entrepreneur, strategist and advisor to business owners. His entire career has involved launching new ventures, integrating merged companies and managing mission-critical projects for Fortune 500 enterprises. Clients have ranged from individual inventors and technology startups to household name companies like GE, Whirlpool, Stanley Tools and Hoffmann-LaRoche.

 

With leadership experience in marketing, finance, sales, operations and information technology, in a range of industries from industrial automation and renewable energy to construction, Bryan is able to see the big picture and develop practical plans for achieving measurable results. He is a troubleshooter, a manager and an advisor to business owners.

SCOTT HARDY, Partner/Master Entrepreneur

Scott is an entrepreneur, inventor and business advisor to start-up and growth companies in the consumer goods, sporting goods and high technology industries. He is the founder of New England Overshoes (NEOS) and ULU footwear. Both of those companies were successfully sold, re-acquired and successfully sold a second time. Scott is also the founder of Linckia, a concept-to market venture development company that works with inventors to commercialize products.


Scott brings a unique combination of creativity, analytical ability and general business experience to his clients. From branding to financial analysis, Scott is able to identify the critical barriers to business growth and guide companies through those barriers.

MICHAEL KIRCHNER, Partner/Finance Master

Michael has been a business executive and business owner for more than 30 years. He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Unistress Corporation and its parent company Petricca Industries, which specializes in the design, production, and construction of large scale precast concrete structures including highway bridges, stadiums, buildings and parking facilities.

 

Earlier, Michael led companies in telecommunications, eCommerce, retail and manufacturing industries. He has been a company President, CFO, General Manager, and Controller. As a management consultant, Mike has advised clients in financial and operational restructuring, across a wide variety of industries.

LARRY CHERNICOFF, Partner/Creative Director

Larry has had a varied career in business and design. Early on, he co-owned an advertising & design agency, then launched and led companies in IT, eCommerce, management consulting, marketing communications, and sustainable consumer goods.

 

He was CEO of a technology startup which doubled revenue every year and was sold after 5 years. He  and his partners later bought the company back, and sold it again.

As a management consultant, Larry has worked for household-name global corporations and small startup businesses. He grasps the key issues of a client's industry and applies sharp thinking to create effective business strategies, practical solutions and award-winning brand identity designs.
